The first day of spring is around the corner, bring on sunshine! According to Almanac.com

"Spring begins in the Northern Hemisphere on March 20, 2012, at 1:14 A.M. (EDT)."

Judging by the weather though, Spring as already arrived.

TMA - Turnaround Management Association

So, in looking for more Leadership content to discuss and comment on, I found this article about Rudy Giuliani's Leadership. Can you believe that there is an organization called the Turnaround Management Association (TMA)? These are my kind of people!

While written in 2007, this article wasn't very ground-breaking but there are some great take aways.

"Identify the right people to lead... and encourage experienced team members to impart their knowledge to less seasoned members.

Holding morning meetings each day with top brass and others as needed. Progress could occur quickly because of the condensed time frame between idea and action.

Organizational structure should be built with the mission in mind. Aligning an organization with its mission ... Thus, the new structure served the mission."

Correction, there are a TON of great take aways.
